Hello Folks,
for quite a while I've been wondering about strange entries in the network usage section of the daily executive report.
On the client list, No. 1 is always the external IP of our firewall. On the server list on the other hand the internal IP of the astaro security gateway is always at the top 2.
I guess that this is somehow accounting for the loopback traffic caused on the ASG itself. Yet both entries never have the same amount of traffic which I think they should if it was only loopback traffic?.
Most likely I just don't know how to read the reports properly. Maybe someone could spread some light?
Another strange thing is that there are ALWAYS entries with random external IPs on the client list. These clients cause significant traffic so I would really love to know whats going on here...
