Remote syslog settings not accepted

I have tryed to set an remote syslog server on ASG 7 ( 7.101 ) I have put the Server (a simple internal host, IP 10.0.0.1) and leave the service as it is (SYSLOG). If a say Apply, I just get a message: 

"One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect." 

I have tryed to create the host and the service again. No success.

Is there are something wrong in this version or do I something the wrong way?

    I'd suggest you try creating the server definition first, in Definitions->Network, select "New network definition", switch to "host", set name and address and then see if it is created successfully. If yes, try enabling remote syslog again by drag-and-dropping the pre-created host definition. Does that work for you?

    Hello,

    It was all created before. The problem seems to be on a other part. I simple reboot on the weekend solved the problem. I could not try this before. But after the reboot I could set it up with the same host I used before.

    So thanks for your help.
