Astaro 7.011 - DNS Problems - DNS Entry in AD DNS but Astaro won't resolve

Hello everyone,

i have the following problem.
We have some internal sites which host some plain websites.

But sometimes and with some hosts i get the resolving host failed site from astaro.

When i ping them in the cmd windows everything is fine.

Under DNS - Global there are no networks listed.

The clients get the ip address from the dns servers over dhcp. So why does it seems like astaro tries to resolve the hosts ?

    so your dns/dhcp boxes are local?

    try to add the ip of that dns/dhcp box in astaro, Network / DNS / Forwarders...

    also make sure that your dns/dhcp box has outbound access to resolve dns queries (but that should be the case already)
