Hello all.
I run v7 astaro gateway just for packet filtering and nat, I dont use any smtp proxy or pop3 proxy services on the gateway. I am very pleased with astaro and think its an exelent bit of kit, I do however have a problem.
From examining the smtp log files it looks as though notification emails are getting stuck in the system, I have read all the other threads in here and followed all the advice. Default gateway ticked and dns correct ect but I think this just comes down to one simple question...
Do I have to have the smtp proxy active to send notification emails ?
If I do is there anyway I can configure the proxy to leave all incoming and outgoing mail alone. I run a development stage smtp server behind the gateway so I dont want the smtp traffic touched at all.
