Reports on websites in exceptions list

I'm not sure if this is a defect, or the way it's supposed to work.

Under Web Security and / or Logging, is there any way to get reports on HTTP traffic to websites listed in the exceptions list?

In the Astaro box there are some websites listed with all the exception choice selected (checked).  When viewing the log files, web traffic to those sites doesn't show up in any of the log files.  If I remove the website from the exceptions list, it shows up immediately in the log files.

Are these websites not showing up because they exist in the exceptions list?  

I can't find where a choice selecting exceptions means "don't log these sites".
