7.006 Web Security report never loads.

Installed 7.006.  System rebooted.
Tried to get to page "Web Security" under reporting, did not load.

Rebooted again, page still never loads. (Spinner rotate for ever)

Kills webmin totally.  Have to reload and relogin in.

Help?

    I've got the same problem. ASG220 + 7.006.

    Report never loads. Webadmin front end toast. Need to quit browser and log back in again.

    OK, it's working now.  Tried again 4 hours after install of the up2date and it's now displaying data.

    Very nice little upgrade.  A baby step towards bringing full user accounting back.  As a side note, looks like they fixed a bug I reported where Reporting>Web Security would be blank using IE7.

    As an explanation, during the update we execute a database upgrade process after the reboot. Until this upgrade is finished, web security reporting will be brocken, as it can't get access to the database.
    The time for the upgrade depends on the size of your database and the processor/harddisk speed of your system.

    This can range from 5 min to 5 hours.

    This upgrade is done only once, it removes unneeded columns and adds several indices to speedup the new webreporting.

    during beta testing I reported a number of formatting errors in the web page report. I am still getting those after upgrading to V7.006 production.

    The values are way out of proportion to the daily report. Daily report shows about 200mb where as the web report shows total of 1.7gb, total time in 445 hours, not bad for 4 users. The upgrade has only been in place about 10 minutes.

    In reference to a post I made earlier in another thread, the download finished at about 4am my time, about 6 hours.

    I will power cycle the ASG and see if that resets the web values.

    My web reporting has now reverted back to original behavior after about 15 hours.  Page never loads, have to reload webmin....

    I did upgrade our astaro yesterday to 7.006 and we seem to have the same problem. Normally we have about 600.000 proxy requests a day. The first executive report this night says 44.643.039 requests!!!

    So maybe I have to see the v7 up2dates as bleeding edge now...

    I've been checking our new reports and I reckon the times + requests are completely bogus.

    Also - I would love to be able to export those reports (to CSV for example).

    From my understanding Astaro intends to build more reports into their software where there are holes in ARM's functionality.

    To my mind this just places more load on already underspecified ASG hardware.

    I also wish I could turn reporting off completely and just let ACC do it!

    Hi there, 

    due to a faulty optimization introduced in 7.006, the same web surfing data get added to the database over and over again causing inaccurate numbers.

    We are currently in progress of uploading ASG V7.007 which will fix this issue and will also clean up the web reporting database so all numbers are accurate again.
