All RRDTool Graphing Just Stopped (new)?!

Couldn't post an reply to the thread of James Bourne so I start a new thread. 

I have the same situation like James Bourne with one of our ASL's (Version is 6.305).

All graphs are affected and don't get updated.

The ASL was new installed some time ago. From this time the Reporting don't work.

# /var/log/reporting/images (created only after reboot)
# /var/log/reporting/rrd (created only after deleting all rrd-files and executed /etc/init.d/rrdcreator start)
# /var/log/reporting/accu (created only after deleting all rrd-files and executed /etc/init.d/rrdcreator start)
# /var/log/reporting/current_report.ph (created only after reboot)

The cron process is running.

# USR/SBIN/CRON[20570]: (root) CMD (/usr/local/bin/reportcontrol.sh) isn't listed in /var/log/system.log
After restarting cron this line isn't listed anyway in system.log.

After executing /usr/local/bin/reportcontrol.sh the images, rrd and accu files are updated, also the current_report.ph.
But they don't get get updated by cron job.

Any advice for me?

    The cron process is running.

    Hm, the cron daemon is running, running it manually works, so the question is - why doesn't it get executed by cron?

    Can you please check your crontab (/etc/crontab)? Are other cronjobs executed? (see system.log for more CRON generated lines)

    I think also that cron is the cause for this problem. Ich tried some custom cron jobs which functions on our other ASL's but not on this special one.
