When I configured my ASG V6 (any update), I could not get Up2Date, etc to run at all.
My DNS forwarder(s) defind in the DNS proxy were to my ISP's Authorative DNS Servers(s).
When I (accidently) changed this to the "Caching" (Secondary) type, everything magically sprang to life.
I suspect that there is a problem with DNS Query Recursion in ASG (or Bind) whereby an AUTH answer will prevent forwarding the query to the "root" servers. The AUTH answer is only (?) for this particular zone. I would certainly not expect a second level server to claim to be authorative for a first level or root level one - only for itself.
