AF_UNIX connection problems

Hi,

We have problems with ASL, it hang unexpectedly and in the system.log we see the following error.   

2006:12:13-18:40:32 (none) syslog-ng[1526]: Error accepting AF_UNIX connection, opened connections: 100, max: 100    

This error occurs several times per second. We cannot access through webadmin nor ssh/telnet.   
The only thing that we can do, is restart mannualy.

We have running the "Intrusion Protection" from two weeks, sending us mails from this system.

This can be the problem? How can we solve it?
