Monitoring traffic

Hi all,
Not sure if I'm posting in the right area but here goes...

I have a situation at home where I need to monitor AIM messages.  Does anyone know if this is possible and if so where I would be able to view the captures. How do I go about setting this up?

I'm running ASL 6.302

    You can monitor AIM messages with Intrusion Protection, there are already a rule for this under the chat group.
    You can simply activate this to detect messages.

    Thanks Karsten but this is only a counter.  I want a log of the actual messages going back and forth.

    if I am right you want to monitor your childrens' chat-sessions?
    I'm sure that you just want to protect them from talking to bad people but keep in mind that, if they discover your doing it would cause much more trouble than talking to them and trying to explain your thoughts about the dark side of the web.

    P.S. Don't take it personally but I'm worried about sniffing around in my childrens' belongings - neither you want to be observed by them too.
