Backup / Reporting -> SMTP error

Hi

Since Version 6 of ASL, i see (from time to time) the following errore in the SMTP Proxy Log:
SMTP protocol violation: synchronization error (input sent without waiting for greeting): rejected connection from H=localhost [127.0.0.1]

This error is permanent since update to 6.203.
Because of this, it is not possible for my, to get a backup (via mail) from ASL or to receive reports, update-info etc via mail.

Also same error after installing a new system from scratch.

Has found 1 solution with google:

edit exim4.conf and set "smtp_enforce_synch = false". but i think, this is the wrong way and bad solution.

All other mailings works fine without problems.

Any ideas

    I hope, that i has found the problem. Some questions:

    1. do you use smtp-proxy (red to green network) ?
    2. your red interface has an ip-addr, exist an dns a-record in internet-dns for this ip-addr ?
    3. point the internet dns mx-record to the same a-record ?
    4. Config Astaro: PROXIES -> SMTP -> Hostname (MX): same name like internet dns a-record ?

    After this (check's and) changes, i can force a backup via mail an (at the moment) all works fine.

    please check, change and give me feedback
