Has anyone experience with the ASL V6 SIP proxy and the sipX IP PBX from SIPfoundry? (www.sipfoundry.org)
Here is the scenario:
1) Phone on the inside registers with sipX PBX on a public IP address. Trying to call the sipX media server fails. The following entry is found in the SIP proxy log:
2005:09:25-18:41:24 (none) siproxd: proxy.c:984 ERROR:rewrite_invitation_body: unable to sdp_message_parse body
2) Phone registered with sipX PBX (both on the local LAN). Trying to register a line with FWD with outbound proxy on the phone set as my internal sipX PBX fails (I.e. all calls from the phone routed through sipX and then through ASL to FWD).
Registration fails. (I am using Polycom IP phones)
If the phone registers with FWD directly without going through sipX, everything works fine. However, all the sipX proxy does is add a via header, as far as I can tell.
This should be a perfectly normal setup that ASL's proxy should handle.
Astaro uses siproxd (see sourceforge) as the internal proxy. In the TODO file for libosip, the SIP stack used in siproxd, it says that the parser needs to be fixed. Could this be related to this issue?
