DNS and Windows domain name

On the DNS Proxy site I entered the ip address from the dns server of my ISP and from my local windows DNS server. Now I can ping the internet addresses and all the pcs that have also entered the ASL as DNS server, but I can't ping the domain name of my windows network, so I can not enter my domain with an windows client.

Why does the ASL DNS does not register the DNS name of my windows DNS server? Would it be possible to add an entry to the ASL manual?

    Hello,
    i  had  the same problem. 

    Using a w2k DNS you have to delete the "." Root domain from your DNS Server. Then you will be able to activate the a  IP adress of your ASL (properties of your DNS). Your Clients points only to your W2k DNS and you must not enter the w2k at your ASL as DNS Server.

    Ok, now i understand the problem. Now i just must know where in the DNS options I have to enter the ip address of my ASL. Can anyone explain this to me?

    ok:
    go to the mmc on you w2k DNS Server , right klick on your DNS Server Icon and then choose the tab 'forwarding' activate them and then insert the ip of your ASL.
    But first remove the "." - Root entry of your forwarding zone. may be you have to restart your server. Then the tab will be enable for your input.
