    i have the same problem. Every message returns this error:

    Did you find a solution to the problem? Over with smtp does ASTARO send these messages? Can i enter my own SMTP?

    This does not indicate an error. fw-notify.net is a domain which belongs to Astaro. To comply with internet standards mails need a sender address, so that you can be informed when e.g. delivery fails (or is deferred). The ASL uses  fw-notify.net as sender domain when answering to those mails would not make any sense, e.g. answering on firewall notifications.
    Now if those notifications could not be delivered (for example if you did not enter a correct address in System->Settings->Adminstrator contact, or your mailserver rejected the mail temporarily), the SMTP daemon tries to inform you what happened with the mail, and since do-not-reply@fw-notify.net is the regular sender address, the information is sent there. The mail server running on fw-notify.net is configured to reject those messages, and so the mails keep hanging in the queue for a while, leaving those log messages, until they are finally removed.

    I hope that clarifies things.

    I allready tried several e-mail adresses under "Administrator contact", but on every e-mail adress i got this error. No mail arrives on my e-mail account. Is there a way to find out why?

    If you check the smtp log file for the address you set as administrator mail, what do you find? Can you please post all lines connected to that message ID ?

    I think I found the problem, but i don't know how to solve it.

    To accellerate the Mail sending I entered the IP Adress of the SMTP Server, that is in my network, under SMTP proxy, so that the Mail don't go over the internet and back in my network. As e-mail adress i now entered alias@192.168.10.9 so that the mail goes directly to my mail server. There i registred that e-mail on my user. But now get this error from my smtp server:

    This message was created automatically by the SMTP relay on 192.168.10.9.
      
    A message that you sent could not be delivered to all of its recipients.
    The following address(es) failed:

      alias@192.168.10.9
        Unrouteable address

    Does the Astaro send these mails over its own smtp server, or does it send it over the server that i enter on the SMTP proxy? I ask this, because when i entered alias@myname.com the message could not be delivered and no error mail came back.
