Help needed, Connection Tracking Data

Hi

Firstly I'm still using Astaro V4, always been reliable, however, in the past couple of days I have noticed that connections, viewed via the Connection Tracking Tab, are not being dropped, instead it is showing that the timeout is set for 4d 23h on the majority of connections, normal HTTP port 80 connections.

This means I now have thousands of current connections when I know I have only a couple of dozen users!!

Any help would be good!!

I tried re-booting but after an hour its back at sky high connections again.

Checked for viruses and trojans on the servers as well but nothing showing up.

Any ideas would be great cause things are getting real slow!

    This is the normal timeout for established TCP connections (5 days), so I doubt that this only showed up in the last days. Where are you perceiving those performance decreases? When surfing, showing the connection tracking page, .. ?

    We only started monitoring this information when there was a noticible slow down in our connection speed and a massive rise in connections reported via the network reporting section. This was at the same time as a new site went live but we hadn't anticipated the impact. However, we see a mix of port 80 connection timeouts and this is what confuses us. 50% of the connections are time out in minutes and the rest in days why is this and is there a way to stop the days timeouts? We suspected Astaro or one of our web servers was not releasing the connection once the client had dropped or once the page had been served.
