v4.23 strange console output

hi folks,

first of all > is it usal, that asl v4 puts the whole packetfilterlog on the console out?

drop: in=ppp0 out=...... and so on


the 2nd thing -> after watching it for a while i got this output

what's going on here ?
i've tested ram, and the hdd bevor installing v4.
any ideas?

    Re: Log Drops showing on the console: that is 'normal' behavior. I am not familiar with what exactly the pattern is, but I believe it's for Drops.

    That message looks like a resource issue. Did you add rules for just Dropping? (not logging) Are there tons of entries in the logs??

    hi,

    yes, i did enter rules for just droping but the log amount seems to be normal.  the console output starts just after about 30 minutes after booting up the machine.
