DNS Proxy

Everytime, when I restart my Firewall (5.023) I'm not able to connect to the internet. All interfaces are up and running. I found a workaround for this problem, but it seems to be a bug in the dns proxy:
After restarting the Firewall, I have to go to the dns-proxy settings and change the order of the dns servers (secondary become primary...). Then, the internet acces works fine. So, I will go back to the dns-proxy settings and change the order back (secondary become secondary...) and it still works.
My question: Why I have to do this?
I know, that I can put the dns servers on the client machines to the real dns servers instead of the astaro, but I think, it should work also with the astaro as dns server.
Anywone same problems? Solutions?

    I'm also having DNS Proxy issues.

    Fresh install of 5.024
    PIII 933
    256 MB RAM
    New 40 GB Hard Drive
    2 Brand New Intel Pro/100 S Server Adapters

    For testing purposes I configured the most simple of setups:

    eth0 - Internal - 192.168.2.1 / 16
    eth1 - External - Comcast Cable DHCP Address

    NAT RULE - MASQ - Internal Network MASQ on External Interface
    PACKET FILTER RULE - Internal Network-Any-Any-Allow
    DNS PROXY - ON - Lisiten on Internal Interface

    Internal Network is running a Win Server 2003 Domain with AD / DNS.
    Client Computers are pointed to the server for Primary DNS and to the ASL for Secondary DNS.

    That's it.  I've installed 30 or so Astaro Boxes since 3.0 and I've never seen this issue.  I have one running in my house and at my office and at my business partners house and at my employees house and at numerous clients and none of them have ever had any issues like what i'm experienceing here.

    Okay, after the install I have good internet access.
    10 minutes in web pages won't resolve. 5 minutes later they will.
    I looked in the DNS Logs and  saw lots and lots of these entries - 

    dumping nameserver stats
    done dumping nameserver stats

    There are also a bunch of entries about not picking up the Root DNS server properly (but I forgot to copy them for this post.  I'll get some for the next one)

    I've never seen Astaro do anything like this.

    Are there some new bugs with DNS Proxy?

    Has anyone else seen there internet access drop off and come back up consistently every 10 minutes or so?

    Astaro 4 was way better than 5... what's up???  I like the features but stability is seriously lacking.

    I've had similar DNS proxy problems as both of you. One minute it will work, and then nothing. At this point I've decided to not use the DNS proxy for now.

    Are you pointing DNS proxy to an external DNS server?

    Have not seen this error on our systems, can you dump a screen of your DNS Proxy setup?
