exim log analysis

Hey all,

I am trying to do a detailed log analysis of the smtp logfiles. I have tried several exim log analyzers on the smtp logs but to no avail. Nothing seems to work, the scripts fail to parse them. It is my guess that the smtp log files Astaro produces are not really 100% exim and that might confuse the parsers. I am using ASL 4.022.

Anyone managed to succesfully use a smtp log analyzer on Astaro's logs ?

Same here!
I used Sawmill to analyze the logs - but sawmill hangs on
import to database :-( using the EXIM filefromat.

is there a official info from astaro??

Yes! it seems nobody is interested what Mailtraffic
is passing the Firewall *ggg*

I haven't tried it, but I'm sure you can look at the exim config file and try to see what log output format they've set it to.
