accounting report - lan dont = net ??

my set up is very simple. I have 8 computers conected to an Astaro machine. The machine has  2 cards in it,  one is conecte to the modem and the othere is conected to the hub wich serves 8 computers.  I would have thaught that adding up the traffic on the 8 computers would = the trafic going through the Net card but it dont?  and I am not using the proxy if that would matter?   203.79.112.5  186 MB (host.domain.com)

    I have changed the accounting procedure to only querie 
    the

    individual lan usesrs my computer is 105 now I now damb well my traficing for this day was far more 8117 kB it would have been 20 or 30 megabyts the service providers tally for the day was 

    2004-08-25   217.56  international and  56.74  local 
    so there total was 274.3 mb Astaros total was 193 could be rounding ? NOT
