Why would there be 5 configuration changes, one restart, and no login for an entire day? If I did not make these changes, are there any processes in ASL that would do this?
Well, I did find out that there was a long term power failure which accounts for the restart but still no explaination for the 5 configuration changes. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Quote from the online help: [ QUOTE ] # Config changes: The number of configuration changes consits of changes made by the administartor and changes made by the system itself.

The reason for those changes can be numerous, for example it might be that you are using some kind of dial-up interface which causes configuration changes when coming up. Isn't it a good feeling that your machine works for you even when you sleep? :-)
