SNMP from external host

Does anyone have an idea of how to enable snmp to answer queries from external hosts? I'd like to use stg to watch bandwidth usage in realtime, but I haven't been able to make getif get a response from the Astaro box.SNMPD is running on the machine. I'm assuming that there is a config file somewhere that I have to edit to allow snmp queries from a specific network. I'm running version 4.022.

In Version 5, you can configure this via WebAdmin.
For version 4 you need to take a look into the SNMP chroot and change the config file by hand: /var/chroot-snmp.mrtg/usr/share/snmp/snmpd.conf .

Dude, thanks. I didn't dive into the file system far enough. Well done. I love the Astaro firewall by the way.
