irc trough socks not working

hi folks,

i´ve enabled the socks, allowed the local network and disabled user authentication. i tried to connect to diferent irc-servers trough the proxy  but i get a timeout every time.

    turn off the socks and jsut use the NAT..if you want to do file transfers that may be a problem but i do not use the socks and i connect to irc jsut fine..[:)]

    i don´t need dcc filetransfer. To limitate the pf-rules and build another securityconcept i want to use the socks, but i can´t understand why it doesn´t work. i had no problems with it in v4. and why is the socksport not changeble?

    i finally got.
    it was a missconfiguration of the ids.
    i had this  SCAN SOCKS Proxy attempt - ID 615 activated. And the rule was blocking connections to the socks
