Accounting not working ?

The "Current Month" stats don't seem to appear on my system either. [5.007]

However if I select a specific day, then the data shows correctly.  Possible bug ?

Hmm..I even don't have the daily one, no reports at all, just the message: "No accounting reports available"

i had the same thing... i looked into the crontab and nothing about gerenating accounting reports was there.  I have disable and again enable the accounting reports under reporting / accounting in WebAdmin and now it has added the jobs to crontab and all is fine...

the configuration you entered is not 100% correct.

You account on the external interface.

I assume that you do Masquerading on all outgoing packets, but if you account only on the external interface, you always see packets with the source ip of your firewall.

You need to account on the internal interface and than query for the internal network, than you see exactly which ip created how much traffic.

Still no accounting reports after applying update 5.009.

Can you please check if the file /etc/crontab.accouting exists and if it has been merged into your /etc/crontab?

The above configuration works fine here. I read your postings last week and configured my test machine to do accounting over the weekend. I have ThisMonth, CurrentMonth and the daily reports. But I must say I would have been surprised if it had been otherwise - after all, it passed QA testing [:)]

I disbled/enebled accounting a couple of times again, and the crontab then was updated/merged.

When I checked the reports this morning, all was working.
