proxy behind proxy

hallo, i have a problem with proxy behind proxy. The 2. proxy is astaro and can not access over the 1.proxy to internet. I have change the file squid.config.default with line cache_peer proxy_1 parent http-port icp-port no-qeury. Ihave not connection to www. Thanks for your tipps

You should be able to point your web proxy to another proxy via a NAT rule. I would suggest something like this:

WEB_PROXY External_Interface__ -> Any / HTTP None otherproxy.whatever.com

I have not tried this, since my ISP uses a transparent web proxy, but try it out and let us know how it works.

Thanks, but is not the solution. I try it yet with ANY -> ANY in the rule. You have a idea!

AFAIK ASL4 does not support cascading proxies...

[/ QUOTE ] No, if the rule I gave you don't do the trick, then forget it.

Don't make SNAT rules with Any/Any redirected to a specific outside address. That will just kill your access to the Internet.
