HTTP Proxy extremly slow?

I have installed last weekend the new V5 astaro, but now my transparent http proxy slows down browsing by about 50% if i turn off the proxy it go's realy fast, if i turn back on, it's slow again, i have a 1,8GHz Athlon Prozessor so that it souldn't be, any ideas?

    There are several performance issues with v5..in naother post a memory usage bug is to blame in some areas..may be hte same here..add tons o ram(like 512) or wait for 5.001..[:)]
