problem with configuration smtp relay

QVICIO
i have problems with the smtp proxy configuration, because send me that i am a open smtp relay, this is my configuration:

Hostname (mx): mail.mydomain.com
Postmaster address: administrator@mydomain.com
Max messagesize: unlimited

Incoming mail

mydomain.com             internalmail


Outgoing Mail

Allow networks      Internal_network
                              private-network-ipsec-lan

Use smarthost:  nothing
tls transaction encryption:  nothing


Global Whitelist

Trusted hosts/networks :    any

trusted domains:     nothing

Anti-spam /content control : nothing

    With only your Internal network being permitted to send outgoing mail (no "Any" listed), you are technically not an open relay. However, your ISP may be upset because your port 25 (SMTP) shows as being live on your external interface.

    Turning on TLS Transaction Encryption and password access to your SMTP proxy is a good idea. It gives you additional security. Create a user on the ASL box called "mail", with rights to use just the SMTP proxy, and with an 8 character alphanumeric password, and instruct your users to enter this ID and PW in their outgoing mail server settings.

    From the log, it looks like your mail server is relaying (the proxy, if configured the way you did, does not). What mail server are you using? (version too)
    Are you sure that it is configured not to relay?

    Can you change the allowed networks to just the mail server? (mask=255.255.255.255) That way possibly infected workstations can't send SPAM out.

    You are not permitting outbound SMTP from your LAN, right?

    Good Idea. 

    The server is Mdaemon 6.8.5 and this option is marked:

    This server not retransmit mail for external domains

    I think that the problem are the clients infected.

    is possible disable proxy smtp relay and add one rule to packet filter to redirect all trafic smtp to my internal mail server?

    shure, its possible! Why you wish not use the asl proxy? is a good mailgateway. You should know that now all smtp traffic goes directly to you internal mailserver which is possible for attacks, exploits etc. to use the asl proxy is more security!

    Is asl smtp relay a open relay????   [:S]

    default not, but you can do it by allow "any" in the outgoing section. iicc i think its possible that not your asl, but your ip is listed as an open relay, e.g. dial-in users from t-online has somethimes this problem. check it  here.

    i want disable proxy smtp relay and add one rule to packet filter to redirect all trafic smtp to my internal mail server.

    DNAT rule:
    Source: Internal Network IPs
    Dest: Internal interface IP
    Service: SMTP (TCP 25)
    Change Destination to IP of mail server

    Packet filter rule:
    Source: Internal Network IPs
    Dest: Mail Server IP
    Service: SMTP
    Action: Allow

    That'll do it.
