HTTP Proxy Error on First Login

I use the HTTP Proxy with User Authentication so I can track each user. The problem I have is when IE popups and asks for the User/Pass and you enter it, the homepage fails to load everytime. YOu have to refresh then everything is fine. Just doesn't look to professional, anyone have any idea on this?

And also. Is it possible to not have the user login each time but still track per user? Its one user per machine so one login then stay logged in would be good.

I just tried duplicating on my machine and I could not duplicate the problem?? I am running Windows XP fully patched and tried with IE, again fully patched, also tried with Mozilla 1.5. Does it do this with all homepages? I would not think that would make a difference, but worth a shot. As far as tracking without user auth...if the workstations have static IP's you can track it that way...you just have to keep a cheat sheet of IP's to PC's.

Forgot to mention...I am running 4.021. How about you?

Reguarding the proxy auth though. That thread is a little old. Has the ability to not have to auth every session been added to ASL yet? Having to auth per browser window is a real pain in the ass and IE is the browser of choice.
