Hi All @ ASL Forum ;-)
I was wondering the way SMTP Proxy is working. I have just install a few ASL Units, and this is what I expect as replies :
CONFIGURATION
In most cases, I setup like this.
SMTP Server (CommuniGatePro) in the DMZ
SMTP Proxy ON at ASL
NAT Rule that pass through incoming External SMTP => SMTP server in the DMZ
SMTP Proxy used (for clients in the Internal Network) = ASL SMTP Proxy
Due to the fact that I NAT incoming SMTP traffic, is the Anti Virus option will check for any viri ?
My CommuniGatePro server in also setup to foward SMTP toward the DMZ_Interface, not directly. I suppose that in that case, the SMTP agent within the ASL is performing Viri Control ?
Thank a lot for this ;-)))
Bye Bye
