After cleaning Proxy Cache no Internet access??!!

Hello to all,
we are running our Astaro box for apx a year. We are using Version 4.021 now since a week or so. Today I cleand the HTTP Proxy Cache using the WebAdmin Interface. After that we are not able to access the internet anymore. When I disable the HTTP Proxy an open a rule for direct access to the HTTP Service in the Packet Filter everthing works fine. But with enabled Proxy nothings goes. We got the following message:

The requested URL could not be retrieved


The following error was encountered: 

Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.heise.de or the access to the https version of the host is dissalowed trough filtering. 
The dnsserver returned: 

Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query. 
This means that: 

 The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. 
 Check if the address is correct. 
 If you are trying to access a https site be aware that this site could be denied by the filtering software.

Your cache administrator is xxxxxx@xxxx.com


Has anybody an Idea of what to do?

    Assuming no settings were changed, it sounds like the http proxy did not restart after the cleaning process.  Have you tried restarting the Astaro?  Also check your Daemon logs make sure there are no messages about process not running.

    I have solved my problem. It was not the HTTP Proxy but the DNS Proxy. I had two IP addresses entered in the setting of the DNS Proxy. It worked fine all the time, but it look like that my provider (T-Online) has changed his DNS Server address? Now I have deleted the entries in "Forwarding name servers" and everything is running. But now I am wondering for what I need these forwarding name servers?

    Forwarding DNS servers you need if you don't want to make all dns queries to the root servers. ISP DNS servers are normally less busy and since many are using it also their cache is quite big. Problem with root servers is that they are only few for whole world and thats why they are busy.
