SMTP Proxy Authentication?

Hi,

I am wanting to use the smtp proxy in astaro. I want to be able to use it from inside and outside of the firewall. The only way I have found myself able to do it is if I enable all networks for outgoing mail. I want the smtp proxy to be open to any host but users MUST authenicate!

Is there a config i am missing to do what I want??

Hopefully I am clear on what I am trying to say?!?!?

    If you use the user authentication on the SMTP relay the allowed networks can be left blank. Anybody that has an account which is valid will be able to use the relay from anywhere. 

    One thing however you have to be careful with, in case you use SAM authentication make sure you do not have an active guest account, otherwise SAM allows any username/password combination and you end up as an open relay for spamers.
