Is there a way to block exe file downloads with the http Proxy?

If you have Surf Protection you can block exe files i think but you must pay for it.

how did you do this ?
if i enter "exe" or ".exe" in the blacklist, sites which contains
a string "exe" are not displayed.

To specify the 1. Post:

i want to block mime types with the header:
application/octet-stream

is there a option in the surprotect module?

You have to do that manually (modify the squid configuration....)

I excluded .exe .com .pif and so on ...
