Proxy and VPN

Hi!

I recently turned on transparent Proxy (HTTP) on my Astaro. Yesterday i noticed that i couldn't access a webserver through a vpn connection. The webserver is placed on a lan through the vpn.

Since i know this worked before, i turned of the proxy. Then suddenly i could access the server. Why is the proxy preventing me from accessing the server?

The website is running on port 80 (no HTTPS)

in fact that is impossible if the Security Association describes a left/right net setup. Proxied HTTP packets have the external IP as source address and this is normally not included in a net2net SA. You could either SNAT those packets or activate a second tunnel 'left net= ext IP of Firewall ; right net = remote subnet'
