squid/proxy bandwidth limit

Hi!

Is it possible to restrict bandwidth on /IP basis?

I need this restriction, because one user is using cca. 50% of my bandwidth all the time (films, games, mp3......)
I think that with QoS only service bandwidth (e.g. HTTP) can be restricted.(?)

Restriction can be done with delay_pools through squid, but I don't know if delay_pools are enabled in squid.

any idea if restriction /user can be done in ASL?

Delay Pools are not compiled in Squid on ASL.
You could use ASL's QoS-Feature.

OK, delay pools cannot be used.
How (if possible) can QoS be used to restict bandwidth for only 1 IP?

Make a new definition with a hostmask (255.255.255.255 or 32). This definition can be used to select only 1 IP.
