POP3 Proxy, Client gets error no server response

I have installed the latest ASL and I enabled the POP3 Proxy, after a wile (a few days) I get and error in all the clients (>50) that the server is not responding. The clients are Outlook 2000-20003 with POP3 configuration and all the mailboxes are at the ISP.

I turned of the POP3 and the Antivirus scanning at the ASL and everything works fine.

Any Ideas on how to make this work, we are interested in the POP3 Antivirus filtering.

Please have a look into the logfiles. You will find the POP3-logfiles in Logfiles -> "SMTP Relay".

Look for what on the SMTP log?

this is the whole /var/log/mail so it is not just SMTP but rather SMTP and POP3 combined.
