Outlook 2003

It seems that Spamassasin does not recognize Outlook 2003 clients.  (Tags mail as pretending to come from MS Outlook)

This adds quite a spam score to the mail pushing a lot into my spam category.

Is their a way to edit the definitions manually ?
New Spamassasin version ?

    goto /var/chroot-mail/smtp/spamassassin/share/spamassassin and open 50_scores.cf, lower the first value of FORGED_MUA_OUTLOOK and restart the proxy.

    hi,

    some questions about that:

    - can i use a user_prefs file instead of editing the 50_scores.cf to disable or lower the value of FORGED_MUA_OUTLOOK ?

    - what are the other values for ?

    - something new about bayes filters ? saw the 23_bayes.cf file ! is it enabled ?

    ok, found the values:
     DEFAULT SCORES (local, net, with bayes, with bayes+net)

    but what does that mean ?

    SpamAssassin 2.61 released!
    Summary of major changes since 2.60:

        * avoid false positives on Outlook 2003 messages, mails from Mac, Palm, and localized versions of Eudora, several AOL MUAs, and newer versions of The Bat!

    @astaro: will there be an update of spamassassin or the (spamassassin-)rules  ?

    Have had a look around and the secion is in 20_ratware.cf
    does anyone know spamassassin well enough to add the required lines to cope with Outlook 2003. This is starting to become a big issue for me as many of my clients are stating to use it.
