http proxy feature request

karabela
in squid you have the option to allow and dissallow internet.

could the option dissallow also be included in the webadmin.
if you configure astaro as a gateway you have internet even if you dont configure the proxy, maybe im doing something wrong.

    I guess HTTP is allowed by your packet filter, that's why users can access the web without the proxy turned on.

    can i add a rule like block from internal to external all http. can people with proxy turned on still internet

    you do not need to add a rule to block http, just delete
    the allow rule. 
    In ASL "everything" is blocked by default.
    And with proxy turned on, and the proxy configured in the browser they can access the internet.

    ASL by default assumes you are allowed to go http if the proxy is on..what you have to do is create a network definition for either the users or group of users then in the http proxy area remove the entire internal network and only put the users(s)/group(s) you want to allow....all others will be blocked...if i am not clear please let me know..
