Can anybody tell me if the smtp proxy can just tag the spam and then pass it through?

Is it possible to define what astaro tags the spam as?

It uses Exim, so go to an Exim forum and you will find your answer.

What do you mean by 'tag'? Add an SMTP header? Add a footnote to the plain text body?

By tagging i mean adding something like (SPAM?) to the subject line to alert the user that the message is possible spam.

Does it use Spam Assasin?

Yes it tags with stars or something else in the subject line.
i dont know wich programm they use.

SpamAssassin it is; another fellow wanted that modified so it wouldn't 'freak out' his users; look for the post with Oliver's suggestion, and you'll find the files you can alter...
