I'm running into a strange problem when I am connecting to internet. Requesting a page, HTTP proxy is asking me for authentication, then tells me it can't find the page. On the error page in IE6SP1 I have to click "detect network settings", then every page comes up as it should be.
I'm running W2K AD with the DNS set up to forward locally unknown adresses to the DNS proxy (which has been set up to ask my ISP's DNS). My internal network runs just perfect, including connectivity to the ASL box.
Anyone experienced the same problem? I'd be grateful for hints
