dns issue

Hello all,

I need to create some static dns entries, how is this done on astaro.

Astaro can be used as DNS proxy only. If you need to write some DNS records, you will have to add it on DNS server for certain domain.

This isn´t quite right - you can do that by "hacking" the configuration yourself.
Just search the forum... it´s not that hard :-)

The config you are looking for is in

/var/chroot-bind/zones
/var/chroot-bind/etc
[/list]
You can add entries there like you would on any other DNS server.
