DNS proxy serve it's own address?

Is it possible to configure the DNS proxy to serve the firewall's internal IP address in response to queries from the internal LAN?  My ISP hosts my domain and I have them serve up the external address for the firewall, and I have my DNS proxy set up to forward to my ISP's DNS.  What I want is for name queries from outside my domain for the firewall to return the external interface's IP, and queries from inside the firewall to return the internal interface's IP.

    Shouldn´t be to hard to realize :-)

    Like you said, your ISP hosts your domain... so he has (to have) a A-Record that points to the ip address of the external interface of your ASL - so external/internet users will get your official ip address as a reply.

    Now you have to setup/"hack" ASL to be a DNS server resp. answer DNS queries from your LAN (search the forum) for your domain too.

    Now, if a client of your lan will ask the ASL for e.g. firewall.domain.com it will get the reply e.g. 192.168.x.x
