pop3 proxy problems

I wish they'd get the pop3 proxy working correctly.  No logs; ugh!  Steadily buggy proxy; yuck!

I see a strange behaviour with pop3 proxy on occasion.  From time to time, pop3 proxy will not correctly pop messages with attachments.  Basically, my users will receive the message OVER and OVER again.  I don't know what triggers this, because it works well at times... Of course, with no pop3 proxy logs, this is a bugger to troubleshoot.

    aparently the non logging of pop3 proxy is a known bug, and will be fixed in an up2date. I have the same lack of logs, and just did a search. there is a thread in "general discussion" about it.

     If the proxy is such a "bugger" and so "yuck" why use it? And if you do want to use it and be helpful then please report bugs in one thread only (there is a thread for this bug already) and provide a bit more information about it. Like how big are the attachements and what is the timeout setting on the server?

    I find the proxy fine, and it's working fine (as far as I can tell). It was logging fine before 4.009, and I'm sure it will log again after 4.010. I can wait.
