(105) No buffer space available

When surfing the net I get the following error "Connection Failed"  The system returned: (105) No buffer space available. This happens about 5-10% of the time. I have cleared the proxy cache but this has not helped. The following is the space on the harddisk...

I am using astaro version 4.009.
Memory is 370MB loaded at around 200MB.

    Sounds like you either have thousands of clients using the proxy or are being hacked/hijacked or infected yourself.  better check your proxy config and make sure only your internal net has access.  And then make sure the regular rules don't allow any connection to the external interface you don't want (like proxy).

    An open proxy server will be quickly found and exploited.  What version and updates are you running?

    There's only 6 clients that access web, and I have checked web proxy from another network for relay and is not allowed. This is really starting to annoy me now, I am running version 4.009 as I said on my original post. I would be very grateful if somebody can shred any light on this matter. As a last resort a full install may be needed but I would rather know what caused this in the first place. 

    Ps I am also getting a "core" but im am unsure if this is related or not.

    I've established what is causing the problem. My adsl router has a feature called "half bridged mode" this uses the DHCP server on the router and assigns the IP from the ISP to the internet interface on Astaro. This allows the adsl router to appear transparent and therefore do the Nating on astaro. 

    The default gateway on the fw is also the same as the assigned ISP IP address, an ARP is therefore assigned to each IP on the internet you need to go to. This arp is the adsl router. Too many arps in the cache will cause the problem ive been having. There seems to be a limitation to the amount of arps linux can have. This is a shame but im sure there is a way around this, I would welcome any ideas.
