ASL v4006 SMTP Proxy

Hello,

login via SSH, change to /var/chroot-smtp/spool/Finput
and delete the mails you wish to delete (look at the ID)

I spoke too soon.

I can't delete any of the files using rm - it says argument list too long for the command 'rm -v *'

Any idea why ?

do this instead:

for file in `ls -1 *`; do rm -v $file; done

the problem is that there are so many files that rm can't handle it.  this way, they are fead to rm one at a time.  

It won't work - I still get:

bash: /bin/rm: Argument list too long

By selecting smaller 'chunks' of the files in the directory, I was able to finally delete all of the messages.
