HTTP Proxy and internal DNS

Hello,

we have the following situation. HTTP Proxy is in transparent mode and forwards all client requests. We have a DMZ host named "bogus" answering on IP 10.18.10.3
Internal client cant access this host uppon using his name, because the HTTP Proxy cant resolve it.
We've started DNS Proxy, added our internal DNS server as forwarder, but the cache still does not resolve this host "bogus".

Any ideas how to make HTTP Proxy resolve internal hosts ?

    Have you tried using fully qualified host name ?

    What kind of DNS are you using ? AD or standard RFC type DNS ?  Have you set allowed interfaces ?

    The clients are checking the correct DNS ?

    Our internal DNS is a Novell DNS server.
    I've run some tests

    Test1

    No HTTP Proxy, DNS Proxy uses internal DNS server as forwarder. The client PC uses firewall as DNS.
    In this case I can surf on and resolve internal hosts.

    Test2

    HTTP Proxy, DNS Proxy uses internal DNS server as forwarder. PC's DNS is irrelevant.
    In case I CAN'T surf on and resolve internal hosts.

    It seems like the HTTP Proxy doesnt use DNS Proxy for resolve. I've found a workaround by excluding internal hosts from using proxy at all. Still I see this as a problem.
