Changing the SMTP Proxy Banner...

I'd like to know how I can change the SMTP Proxy banner that Exim shows when people connect from the outside.

You can try editing /var/chroot-smtp/etc/exim.conf

It won't let me keep the changes to the file - it just changes it back after reboot. Anyone know how to keep that from happening?

look for the default file. change that one.
Make a backup first !

(It loads new each time at reboot)
