I configured Surf Protection and added just two categories. I saved the settings and enabled this feature. But the pages were not blocked. I was able to browse to every website I wanted. After reading the file /var/chroot-squid/etc/filter.conf I realized that some servers should be accessible. We have an upstream provider with a firewall. Normally traffic to port 6000 is blocked by this firewall. I asked the guys to open the necessary traffic for me and they did it finally today. To check this I used the admin interface Tools – TCP Connect and checked 212.126.210.198 Port 6000 and received the following message:

For me it means that I have connection to this server now, but Surf Protection is still not working.
