I've noticed the Astaro File extension filter does not correctly filter extensions of files with malformed file names. This filename malformation became a common way to fool inexperienced users. It is used by the widespread W32.Yaha virus.
The filename looks like i.e. this one:
"unlock.txt.scr"
This is just my perhaps even stupid wild guess: If the parser works by scanning the file name from the beggining, it would probably be wiser to scan it from the end.
Can we expect a version of the Astaro file extension filter which will filter this type of attachments correctly?
