Squid keeps restarting after Update to ASL V4

Since I updated to ASL V4 the http Proxy keeps restarting within seconds. The selfmonitor log gets filled with Messages saying that and Interneaccess via Proxy is not possible.
Any Idea ?

Killing Squid and restarting does not help.

I resored my ASL V3.2 Backup and everything works fine but Squid.

Then I reinstalled V4 an configured it by hand without importing the 3.2 Backup.... same problem!

    Could you guys be a bit more specific?
    Like, for starters, do you perhaps block the squid port. Did you try telneting from the firewall to a port 80 of say google or som other site. What exactly is the message in the daemon log?
    We cannot help you without this information.

    Sorry for not being more specific.  It was so unpleasant, and caused a bit of a problem for the users that I was terse in my posting.

    Here are the full details:

    1.  I've upgraded to 4.001 and the problem still exists.

    2.  The problem only shows up if I configure a Surf Protection Profile.  If I don't have anything configured in Cobion, the proxy runs fine and no messages are sent.

    3.  The error is "[INF 118] Surf Protection not running - restarted"

    4.  Telnet is not included on my Astaro box, so I can't telnet anywhere to check anything. 

    5.  Is there a particular port that I have to define a packet filter rule for so that this service will work?  Right now I have pretty strict rulesets....

    More details.

    I have a blacklist and whitelist in my configuration, and the blacklist seems to be the problem.   

    Another user suggested I use "*" as the blacklist if I wanted to block all content except that which I specified in my whitelist.  This appears to be breaking the surf protection.

    I need to find a way to block everything except what's allowed through the whitelist.
