HTTP-Proxy / Blacklist

Hello,

i have recognized something with the Webfilter. Especially with the blacklist-entries.
My situation:
I have 2 profiles. Lets say one for powerusers and one for the others :-) ... both profiles are on the same network.
In the poweruser profile there is no reglementation on surfing. No cobion filters, no blacklist entries.
The normal-user profile is configured to block some categories.
This works fine.

Now, if i insert an entry in the normaluser profile - black-list section - this entry works also in the poweruser profile.
Is this correct ?

    I also have a customer that has Corbians Surf Protection Activated and they have informed us of a similar problem. Basically it was explained to me like this:

    Example (will be tested on 05.03.03 European Time):

    there are 3 Profiles (1) Admins (2) Power-Users (3) Users

    Admins have no filtering
    Power-Users have IT blocked
    Users have everything blocked.

    Power-Users shouldnt be able to surf EBay, so an entry is put in the Blacklist for ebay.com.

    works great (so i am told) except when an Admin tries to load up ebay.com they are also blocked even though there is no entry in the Admin Profile blacklist or in the categories.

    our customer is using User Auth.

    I will post a few log entries in the morning.

    can anyone confirm this? a known issue?

    You need to exsplicitly add a profile which has no filtering for the admin. If there is no profile for the username Admin the profile will be matched against the source network. 
    BTW, it is all in the help (the little ? sign in the HTTP proxy WebAdmin page).
