SMTP PROXY How to

I am Confused with the configuration of the smtp services
i have a Mailserver in a DMZ (192.168.3.x Net) and the official IP Adress bound to the eth1 NIC . Is it now necessery to Nat (SNAT/DNAT) some ports and define some roules or is the only thing to do enable the SMTP Proxy and the Nat and Roules are made in background automaticly.

if you want to send outgoing mail from the mail-server in the DMZ to internet via firewall it is enough to enable the dns-proxy and for incoming mail you need to set up some smtp-routes so that incoming mails for a specific domain are forwarded to a specific smtp-host.

Sure i like to receive mail trough the firewall to mailserver
and i now that i have to enable the smtp proxy but it is necessary to ad some roules and nat entries.

No, just setup the proxy and it should work. You will need to make sure your mail server is set to use astaro as the smart-host.
